***"The A is Silent!!"***
Hello Sonic Supporters!
If you happen to have traveled through Farmington IL. at all this week,( and we KNOW you want to!!)
You would have noticed some MEGASONIC Graffiti on the corner of Farmington Road and Rt. 78!
This came about when we were informed EVERY bar in the small town had a band this particular Saturday night, and we needed to spread the word we were in town to ROCK!!
Bar Owner and all around cool dude Crazy Charley had told us we were welcome to write our name with marker on the side of the building since he was to re paint this week anyway.
The markers were not showing up so well, so since we have a resident ex-juvenile delinquent drummer with a talent for train graffiti, we asked Charley if we could just use spray paint!
They don't call him Crazy Charley for nothing...
So, the plan worked. We had a GREAT crowd of people rocking, rolling, and having a great time all around.
A big thanks to the staff and people of Farmington for hanging out with us.
After the gig, we were winding down admiring the small but effective sign we had made, when our boy Charleys says"Let's make it OFFICIAL!"
Sweet Tooth was give a fresh can of paint and told to tattoo the bands name on the side of Crazy Charleys 2 forever!
After starting out HUGE and working in a frenzy of overspray and alcholism, Sweet Tooth stepped back to view his masterpiece only to realize to ALL of our amusement he had FORGOTTEN the A in MEGASONIC!
A quick punk rock fix was applied, and we are now a permanent part of the Farmington Landscape!
This Saturday, we are back in Canton @ OUTSKIRTS.
If you plan on coming from Peoria, take Farmington road to route 78, and make a left at the MEGSONICS RULE sign!
